Hello,
I consider packaging unixODBC to provide the database access feature of
edbrowse, cf:
http://www.edbrowse.org/
http://www.edbrowse.org/usersguide.html#sqlb
But in the README for unixODBC I find this:
NOTE: This package conflict with libiodbc in Slackware. Make sure to reinstall
libiodbc if you remove this package
This leads to two questions:
1. Can unixODBC can be considered a drop-in replacement of libiodbc?
2. Should libidobc be removed before installing unixODBC?
Best regards,
Didier
